Training

The International Board for IT Governance Qualifications (IBITGQ) recommends that all candidates engage in formal training or e-learning courses prior to completing an IBITGQ approved examination.

Training is delivered by an Approved Training Organisation (ATO) who has been selected on the basis of the ability to deliver:

• Highest quality education with a practical approach delivered by experienced practitioners
• Course content as defined in the published course syllabus
• Preparation for candidates to take and pass the IBITGQ Examination

The IBITGQ has approved the following training courses:

Foundation Level

ISO27001 Certified ISMS Foundation
Principles of IT Governance

Advanced Level

ISO27001 Certified ISMS Lead Implementer

ISO27001 Certified ISMS Lead Auditor

All candidates attending our approved training courses will be offered the opportunity to take the respective IBITGQ paper-based examination delivered as part of the course. All candidates who pass these examinations will be awarded one of the following IBITGQ Certifications:

Certified ISMS Foundation (CIS F)

Certified ISMS Lead Implementer (CIS LI)

Certified ISMS Lead Auditor (CIS LA)
