Learning Paths from Foundation to Advanced

An IBITGQ Approved Training Organisation (ATO) offers a training programme with a structured learning path from Foundation to Advanced level in the key topics of Information Security, Business Continuity, IT governance and Service Management. Each individual training course is designed to build the relevant skills and knowledge and enable delegates to deliver best practice and compliance to their respective organisation. For the future, we are working with our ATO’s to introduce Expert level courses designed to further enhance the knowledge and skills of more experienced IT governance professionals.

Foundation Level

ISO27001 Certified ISMS Foundation
Implementing IT Governance: Foundation & Principles

Advanced Level

ISO27001 Certified Lead Implementer

ISO27001 Certified Lead Auditor

Please note that not all courses may be offered by all Approved Training Organisations.

Training Course Syllabus

To assist in the development and standardisation of the training and certification programme, the IBITGQ has published the learning outcomes and syllabus for each approved training course.

Training Course Format

All courses are available as class-room sessions with a dedicated instructor and will offer candidates the opportunity to take the paper-based examination delivered as part of the course. In the future, all course will be also be available as online e-learning modules.
