IBITGQ examinations are available for the award of the certifications:
A standard examination fee must be paid in advance to the organisation proctoring your exam. The exams are paper-based (only available as part of an IBITGQ training course).
The fee for the paper-based exam does not include the charge for attending the specific IBITGQ training course.
Examinations can be taken as:
- An online or paper-based examination delivered as part of an approved IBITGQ training course; or
- An online examination administered at an approved IBITGQ exam centre.
Both the paper-based and online examinations consist of a number of multiple-choice questions (typically 40). The exams last 60–150 minutes and candidates need to achieve a 65% score to pass for most exams.
All examinations incur an exam fee that must be paid each time you sit an exam. Your training provider or IBITGQ exam centre will be able to advise you of the associated fee and how this can be paid.
The fee for the exams do not include the charge for attending the specific IBITGQ training course. If you have booked a training course through an ATO, the exam fee may be included in the course price – check with the ATO directly for the details of your specific course.
** Candidates who register and take the online examination will be expected to have a good knowledge of the exam subject. We strongly recommend candidates prepare thoroughly by reading the recommended course material and reference books as described on our Study Guide page. **
